Feeling sassy, yet sophisticated.

I thought I would try something different with my nails other than just painting them plain grey or red or purple. So after browsing my Pintrest ( which you can see here ) and googleing 'intresting nail patterns' I plumped with this one.

I feel all adventurous and sassy when I have my nails like this!
I should do this more often.

By the way, my shoes are still up for grabs, grab them.

Whats that coming over the hill... is it summer?

Shoes - Topshop (ebay)  Top - Ebay   White top - New Look

Earings - Matalan   Top - H&M   Wedge Shoes - Matalan

Gold top (I know this isnt on the list, but I love it) - Matalan

This is my new summer wish list! and it only cost £128. I can totally NOT afford that. Plus if you noticed, it's not all black. I've turned a new leaf and have vowed to start dressing like a girl. What better time than summer? Not that it looks like were getting a summer, at least not one that doesn't consist of bleak weather and dreary days in hiding from the rain. You see as a natural curly even the lightest of rain can turn my hair from straight to afro in 5 minuted flat. Never good!

Fingers crossed people!
WE WANT A SUMMER!

Why'd you have to go and put stars in their eyes

New Dress, £10 down from £20 in the New Look sale. Oh, I do love my life. BUT more importantly, I put something on Ebay. That's something I had never done before and it was actually surprisingly exiting.
Check it out here
and, erm, please feel free to bid.

BUT even more importantly than Ebay or new dresses, it was my mums birthday Saturday!

Obviously the first port of call was present opening. Then after our birthday dippy eggs we embarked on my dads mystery tour. Sounds exiting right, well it wasn't. The plan was to take my mum (without her knowing) on a mystery tour to loads of different antique shops, art deco fairs and scrap yards. We had seven shops to hit, the furthest in South end. Yippie! Birthday road trip and obviously we all know what is mandatory when on a road trip, McDonald's (how naughty). However most of the shops we wanted to go to were no longer shops, 1 for example is now a hair dresser. But, although 4 of the 7 shops were either closed or shut down, we had a very lovely day, topped of with an Indian at Cafe Madina with a few of my mumma's friends.

Happy birthday mum!

Also a very happy birthday to Jane Lynch who plays Sue in GLEE.

Baking with the brother

These are the delicious cakes my brother Lloyd and I made. Now, I hate to blow my own trumpet but they were sooo good! And just as well, it took a long walk to Sainsburys and when that wasn't open an even longer walk to Tesco just to grab some ingredients. But it was all worth it in the end. Little bit of this an' a little bit of that and hey presto, our cakes!

Pressures of a bit now guys because my English assessment is all over with. Not to say it went well because it most certainly didn't, but it's over now. Thank to Lord, bring on the holiday!

Razzel Dazzel

I have been absent for over a week now and for that I am very sorry. I hope my starry nails lift your mood and make it easier for you to forgive me. I hope it comforts you to know that I haven't been spending all my time painting my nails or generally not blogging due to either faffing or just not having taken any pictures, I have been awfully busy with last minute school projects that have to be handed in before the holidays and taking my Isa's in Science.
...Not to say I haven't had a little bit of fun. On Friday night I went with Merri and Cameron to our friend Jacks dance show and it was AMAZING! Although it has to be said that I shed a frantic tear when 20 people ran out wearing masks, but despite my intense fear of masks kicking in half way through act 2 I still had a brilliant time.
But, good news. Only 9 days left until the real fun begins! The 6 weeks holiday will begin and then soon I'll be year 11. But before thinking about year 11 I must focus on the holidays, in which I will be taking a trip to the zoo and maybe going to Thorpe Park. How exiting!

See ya later amigos.
