Thank the lord for Mummys!

I went shopping Saturday with my friend Helen and all day didn't see anything that particularly interested me... Until, the most magnificent pair of shorts I had ever seen caught my eye!
Now, I didn't have a lot of bob on me and the shorts were £20 but when needs must I found a way.
*FLASHBACK*
I had been in this very shop ('Revolver', in Colchester) with my mum a few months ago and I kid you not tried on about a million pairs of shorts and all I got from my mum was "Oh, they are a bit short" or "Oh they are a bit loose" so we called it a day and gave it up as a bad job.
*CURRENT DAY*
... so obviously when I tried on the shorts and saw they were only an inch or two to big I whipped out my phone and texted the only woman who I knew could help me, mummy. The text consisted of "MUM! I have seen THE shorts and they are an inch or two to big, can you do something about that if i buy them?! PLEEAAASSSEEEE!" five seconds later she replied "Yes" (my mums not a big texter) I was over the moon! I rushed to the till and purchased them immediately.

These are them:

These are pre taking in which is why they look a little baggy around my, erm, genitals.

Yeah, i'm in my kitchen, cooking pasta.
I also purchased this ring, it was £1 in the sale. BOOM!

Not so free, free people?!

Okay, so i stumbled across this little shop called 'Free People' which i think is oddly ironic considering it is extremely expensive! But the clothes are beautiful! Very flouncy and girl, not quite my thing so I picked out four of my favourite dresses (of course black) they all have a drastic range in price. But hey, just because i don't have the squid, if you do then eat your heart out and shop away!

1. £43.30      2. £126.09      3. £221.61      4. £81.51

I also think 'Free People' do the best shoes ever! EVER! I love the black flats so much I showed them to my mum for a replacement pair of school shoes (my ones at the moment are pitifully thrown in the back of the cupboard riddled with holes and covered in dirt) before i saw the price!
I don't know if i could pay that for a pair of shoes without having an aneurysm to be totally honest with you. Even if i did i don't have that money to spend!
1. £76.42      2. £81.51      3. £94.25      4. £94.25      5. £106.98

Shop away.

Black, Black or Black?

I wear ALOT of black! ALOT of black! I would say 99.9% of my wardrobe is black, brown or grey. Due to this as soon as i get invited to a party I run to my lap top google 'Topshop' click dresses and mark the 'black' box and this is exactly what i did this evening. These are the dresses i found. I am really really into these body con dresses right now and I am trying really hard to find one, but living in bloody Clacton limits my shopping ability to a dozen charity shops, new look and dotty P's.

All of these dresses are from TOPSHOP

Today i also went shopping with my mum and she brought me a few things, some pants that I wont show you and a shirt that i will show you
I love this shirt it's from a shop called the Edinburgh Woollen Mill, it is the most old people shop ever but the other day i saw through the window a sale and a few pretty fly shirts so i wandered in. Let me tell you the snooty old people who worked there did not look please to see a young person! So when i went into town with my mum i made her go in there with me (not saying my mum is old but it goes without saying she is older than me) and they were perfectly polite and even said they liked the shirt i was wearing when they handed me the bag. How nice :)
Any way, this is my shirt.

It was £15 pounds in the sale down from £30! Still expensive, but half price!

I'm not chav girl!

I had a moment of confusion this afternoon. Today during my cold and already not enjoyably walk to my boyfriend’s house, I got abused! I got called a chav purely because I was wearing a grey hoodie? What? Granted I looked a bit scruffy, my beloved jumper has  got a (relatively large) curry stain on it and I did have the hood up, my headphones were in but I don’t think my black jeans and new trainers screamed “chav” in any way shape or form.
I feel this is the perfect opportunity to introduce to you my new trainers. I love them very much and they were £0 squids because my nan gave them to me. She brought them to play golf in (my nans an avid golf player) but they didn’t fit her!
 Wooh!
My lucky day!

I love the way they look quite a lot like brogue's because i'm not a big trainer fan. I LOVE THEM!

Happy Valentines day!

Happy valentine’s day everyone. I meant to post this yesterday but I found myself otherwise occupied stuffing mushrooms, whipping cream and dashing to my corner shop to grab some forgotten ingredients for my delicious romantic meal I prepared for my boyfriend Phillip. Let me tell you cooking a whole meal without your other half knowing is difficult, but sure enough when he arrived to my house at 6 he was extremely shocked by the sight of my usually cluttered dining table cleared and decorated with burning candles, a dozen roses (which he bought me) and two glasses of shlure. I do think the surprise was ruined by the aroma of giant mushrooms stuffed with cheese and garlic, lasagne and garlic bread that filled my house (It didn’t come to my attention until after we had eaten our meal that I may have included a bit too much garlic. Not romantic. Mmmm garlic breath, kiss me?!) But he being the sweetie he is told me he had no idea what I was cooking. I love him. After our meal we sat in front of the telly and watched you got mail. What a night! Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of the actual food I made because I’m silly. Sorry about that. But, my roses are beautiful.
One of the roses i recieved
My mums roses from my Puppa
