Feeling sassy, yet sophisticated.

I thought I would try something different with my nails other than just painting them plain grey or red or purple. So after browsing my Pintrest ( which you can see here ) and googleing 'intresting nail patterns' I plumped with this one.

I feel all adventurous and sassy when I have my nails like this!
I should do this more often.

By the way, my shoes are still up for grabs, grab them.

Whats that coming over the hill... is it summer?

Shoes - Topshop (ebay)  Top - Ebay   White top - New Look

Earings - Matalan   Top - H&M   Wedge Shoes - Matalan

Gold top (I know this isnt on the list, but I love it) - Matalan

This is my new summer wish list! and it only cost £128. I can totally NOT afford that. Plus if you noticed, it's not all black. I've turned a new leaf and have vowed to start dressing like a girl. What better time than summer? Not that it looks like were getting a summer, at least not one that doesn't consist of bleak weather and dreary days in hiding from the rain. You see as a natural curly even the lightest of rain can turn my hair from straight to afro in 5 minuted flat. Never good!

Fingers crossed people!
WE WANT A SUMMER!

Why'd you have to go and put stars in their eyes

New Dress, £10 down from £20 in the New Look sale. Oh, I do love my life. BUT more importantly, I put something on Ebay. That's something I had never done before and it was actually surprisingly exiting.
Check it out here
and, erm, please feel free to bid.

BUT even more importantly than Ebay or new dresses, it was my mums birthday Saturday!

Obviously the first port of call was present opening. Then after our birthday dippy eggs we embarked on my dads mystery tour. Sounds exiting right, well it wasn't. The plan was to take my mum (without her knowing) on a mystery tour to loads of different antique shops, art deco fairs and scrap yards. We had seven shops to hit, the furthest in South end. Yippie! Birthday road trip and obviously we all know what is mandatory when on a road trip, McDonald's (how naughty). However most of the shops we wanted to go to were no longer shops, 1 for example is now a hair dresser. But, although 4 of the 7 shops were either closed or shut down, we had a very lovely day, topped of with an Indian at Cafe Madina with a few of my mumma's friends.

Happy birthday mum!

Also a very happy birthday to Jane Lynch who plays Sue in GLEE.

Baking with the brother

These are the delicious cakes my brother Lloyd and I made. Now, I hate to blow my own trumpet but they were sooo good! And just as well, it took a long walk to Sainsburys and when that wasn't open an even longer walk to Tesco just to grab some ingredients. But it was all worth it in the end. Little bit of this an' a little bit of that and hey presto, our cakes!

Pressures of a bit now guys because my English assessment is all over with. Not to say it went well because it most certainly didn't, but it's over now. Thank to Lord, bring on the holiday!

My make up bag.

First(the lighter one) is Lip Tint and Second (the darker one) is the Natural Collection lip stick.

Razzel Dazzel

I have been absent for over a week now and for that I am very sorry. I hope my starry nails lift your mood and make it easier for you to forgive me. I hope it comforts you to know that I haven't been spending all my time painting my nails or generally not blogging due to either faffing or just not having taken any pictures, I have been awfully busy with last minute school projects that have to be handed in before the holidays and taking my Isa's in Science.
...Not to say I haven't had a little bit of fun. On Friday night I went with Merri and Cameron to our friend Jacks dance show and it was AMAZING! Although it has to be said that I shed a frantic tear when 20 people ran out wearing masks, but despite my intense fear of masks kicking in half way through act 2 I still had a brilliant time.
But, good news. Only 9 days left until the real fun begins! The 6 weeks holiday will begin and then soon I'll be year 11. But before thinking about year 11 I must focus on the holidays, in which I will be taking a trip to the zoo and maybe going to Thorpe Park. How exiting!

See ya later amigos.

Snip snip...

Today was a day for DIY t-shirts and cake making.

The DIY part of today. For our anniversary Phillip made me a t-shirt and I really like it but, I never wear it so... Snip snip!

(Okay, so I totally forgot to take the picture of the before. Butthis is pretty much what is looked like)

On Sunday mum went to a car boot sale and brought 4 punnets of strawberries (they were on sale because they were to small to sell as shop strawberries) my mum told me to use them up so I made a strawberry sponge cake, with whipped cream and strawberry bits in the middle and white icing and strawberries on top. It was yummy!

Plus, I got my first 2 followers! WOOH!

Bye guys!

Feeling a bit artistic

Shirt, Charity shop.  Jeans, Ebay.  Jacket, Charity shop.  Shoes, Ebay

(I was feeling a little bit artistic today so I thought I would attempt some more creative pictures instead of plain ones)

Today Phillip and I went to Colchester for a little shopping trip. I had a few things on my list and managed to get them all (bar some nail varnish remover) I got a new key ring, some new pants (Topshop sale, Wooh Hoo!) a new bracelet and a new diary. I vow to myself to write in my diary everyday!

Thats right, another wish list

Blue crop shirt, New Look.  Shoes, Pilot.  Skirt, H&M.  Bag, Accessorisz

I need a bag! My theory is if the bag you use for school cannot fit an A4 piece of paper in it, it just isn't practical for school! My beloved bag unfortunately does not fit this theory, as much as I tryed to make it, but ya know, squar peg round hole and all that. So, I have been trolling through the internet and actual virtual shops looking for a bag. So far, this is the only one I have seen. BUT! It is £55 so I don't think I'll be buying it unless there is a drastic sale on!

Good bye Goldielocks
Now on a slightly more depressing note, Goldielocks will no longer be a part of this blog due to lack of time and inspiration.
How I need your oppinion!

Change blog name or not?Keep Peaches & Goldielocks or get a new fresh name?

Those little things that you just never get around to

I have had a list of pretty basic tasks that for some reason has been hanging on my pin board untouched and unaccomplished for a fair few months and it's time to complete some of them!

The list includes:

1. Re-paint your bedroom walls
(white, in case you were wondering)
2. Make a doily lamp
3. Tidy out wardrobe
4. Fix zip on the back of brown dress
5. Finish the bunting
6. Alter picture frames so they hang flat to the wall
7. Finish my cross stitch piece
8. Change buttons on the white shirt
9. Finish putting pictures in the frames on my wall
10. Sort out a specific draw for all my school work
(we all know that sorting out draws only amounts to more clutter in other draws and piles of stuff out in my hall way that is to be return to various other parts of my house)
11. Stick tin of bits in my memory book
12. Write all recipes on scraps of paper into my little cook book

However as much as I would like to tackle some of them things today, much more pressing matters are ahead of me. Such as my Maths exam on Monday (which I feel like I have revised the hell out of but am still destined to fail) So today instead of doing any of the things on my list I shall be focusing my day around mock papers and Mark schemes.

Shlep round the shops

Outfit for the day:

(apologies if 'shlep' isn't actually a word)
My Auntie Terry is down from Hertfordshire for the weekend so today my mum, my Auntie and I had a little trip to Colchester. However, as does almost everything in England, it got ruined by the crappy unreliable British weather. Walking around Colchester isn't quite as fun when your shoes are slowly filling up with water and squelching as you walk, trust me. But, despite the weather we had a brilliant day and finished it of nicely with some home made scones and a totally non competitive game of Pictionary.
